REQUEST: The request is for City Council to conduct a second and final reading of an ordinance which allows for the lease of certain city property to Edward J. Campbell. The address of the property is exempt from disclosure under Section 119.071(4)(d)(1)(2.a), Florida Statutes, as Mr. Campbell is a sworn law enforcement officer.
DISCUSSION:
The City Charter requires adoption of an ordinance prior to the lease of City property. The term of the lease is for two years and the monthly rent payment is $900.00. The retroactive date of the lease is March 1, 2023.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council conduct the second and final reading of an ordinance which allows for the lease of certain city property to Edward J. Campbell as submitted. The address of the property is exempt from disclosure under Section 119.071(4)(d)(1)(2.a), Florida Statutes, as Mr. Campbell is a sworn law enforcement officer.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT: No funding is required for this item. | | | |
