REQUEST:
Attached for your review and consideration for approval is a project change order in the amount not to exceed $1,650.96 and a final pay request not to exceed $41,570.96 from Veterans Fuel Management for a Fuel Master Software System.
DISCUSSION:
OPW was a legacy fuel management system for city vehicles that was outdated. The request by council was to purchase Fuel Master, which is a cloud-based fuel management software system to replace our previous OPW system. It was determined during installation that an Antenna needed to be added as an additional component. The purpose of this Antenna was to provide a line of site communication for us to receive information on fuel levels between the Fuel Master and Tank monitor. This was the reason for the additional cost.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the change order and final pay request are recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding to support this expenditure is available in the prior year Fund Balance. | | | |
