REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointment of Stephen Blanchard as a member to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Stephen Blanchard submitted his application for membership on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board earlier this year. Since that time, Mr. Blanchard has attended the requisite number of meetings in order to advance his application forward. If approved, Mr. Blanchard's term would be for three years and would be up for renewal on September 19, 2026. With this appointment, that leave two alternate member positions open on the board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointment of Stephen Blanchard to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
