REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to conduct a discussion to appoint the City's representative at the Pasco County Legislative Delegation Meeting on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the PHSC West Pasco Campus Performing Arts Center.
DISCUSSION:
Each year the City attends the Pasco County Legislative Delegation Meeting to present the City's legislative priorities for the upcoming Legislative Session. This year the meeting will take place on Monday, October 2, 2023 beginning at noon at the PHSC West Pasco Campus Performing Arts Center. Normally I am in attendance to present the items to the delegation however I will still be in Austin, Texas attending the ICMA Annual Conference. Therefore, it is requested that City Council conduct a discussion to nominate the City's representative for this year's meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council conduct the discussion to appoint the City's representative at the Pasco County Legislative Delegation Meeting on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the PHSC West Pasco Campus Performing Arts Center as submitted.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
