REQUEST:
The action being requested of the City Council is to review and consider the approval of the attached proposal to enter into an agreement with CDW Government LLC. The proposed amount is estimated not to exceed $106,000.00 within the fiscal year 2023-2024.
DISCUSSION:
The City of New Port Richey currently utilizes Microsoft for licensing for email, office suite products, servers, and many various software. Using Microsoft products requires that you have an Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft. The Microsoft Agreements are a 3-year commitment and require the licensing to be purchased from a reseller. We have obtained 3 quotes and CDW-G provided the lowest pricing for the licensing we need. The pricing for this agreement will be the recommended amount each year for the next 3 fiscal years.
RECOMMENDATION:
The approval of entering into this agreement is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding source for this purchase will come out of the Technology Solutions 23/24 budget for Software Licenses/Support account code 102445225. | | | |
