REQUEST:
The action requested by the City Council is to review and consider the approval of the attached proposal for the renewal of professional services agreement with Jones Edmunds for Graphical Information Systems (GIS). The proposal is estimated to be $34,000.00 on a Time-and-Materials basis which is using the standard rates as described in Attachment Exhibit A. The project will be completed within 6 months.
DISCUSSION:
The City of New Port Richey (City) utilizes ArcGIS for maintaining inventory of infrastructure and base maps, as well as a variety of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)data. The City’s recently migrated its authoritative Public Works GIS data to an Enterprise Geodatabase. As part of the project, a new geodatabase schema was developed to accommodate the City’s legacy utility data from a variety of sources within Public Works including shapefiles and geodatabases. The estimated level of effort will be for geospatial support services to include. Development data cleanup and processing, GIS data support for address and parcel data consumed by Tyler Energov, and GIS server support.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the purchase is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding source for the agreement was a budgeted item from Technology Solutions 23/24 Professional Service line item 102443199. | | | |
