RE:	Cultural Affairs Committee Minutes - September 2023

REQUEST:

The request before City Council is to review and consider approving the attached minutes from the September 20, 2023, Cultural Affairs Committee Meeting.

DISCUSSION:

The Cultural Affairs Committee makes recommendations and advises the City Council regarding financial sponsorship and the creation of activities promoting City residents' cultural education and appreciation.

The Cultural Affairs Committee holds monthly meetings, with the most recent meeting occurring on October 18, 2023. At this time the committee reviewed and approved the minutes from its September 20, 2023, meeting.

The Cultural Affairs Committee will consider the October 18, 2023, meeting minutes for approval at their next meeting which will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, inside the Avery Conference Room located at the New Port Richey Public Library.

The public is invited to attend.

RECOMMENDATION:

The recommendation before City Council is to review and accept the minutes from the September 20, 2023, Cultural Affairs Committee Meeting.
