A Request for Proposal (RFP) #24-015 was issued on February 5, 2024, to sell the vacant city parcel for construction of a single-family home as outlined in the purchase and sale agreement. The minimum acceptable bid was $35,000.00 with an available reimbursement of $15,000.00 if the property receives a certificate of occupancy within 12 months of the sale. The sole proposal received was from Lee Nguyen in the amount of $39,000.00.
The goal of this surplus property sale is to increase home ownership and improve the quality of life in this area.

The City Attorney reviewed ordinance 2024-2300 along with the sale and purchase agreement and approved them as to form.
