As City Council may recall, the city performed a Roadway Needs Assessment in 2014. Included in the report was a ranking system that identified roadways by their existing condition and placing them into groups or paving cycles. The streets included in this task order are identified as paving group cycle eight (8). They include:
1. Jackson St. from Main St. to Central Ave.
2. Monroe St. from Main St. to Central Ave.
3. Monroe St. from Central Ave. to Mockingbird Alley
4. Jackson St. from Mockingbird Alley to Indiana Ave.
5. Jackson St. from Indiana Ave. to Kentucky Ave.
6. Michigan Ave. from Grand Blvd. to Washington St.
7. Garden Grove Ln. from Michigan Ave. to Grand Blvd.
8. Homecrest Rd. from Grand Blvd. to Washington St.
9. Orange Grove Ave. from Grand Blvd. to Washington St.
10. Kenwood Ave. from Grand Blvd. to Washington St.
11. Broadway Ave. from Grand Blvd. to Washington St.
12. Chapel Ave. from Broadway Ave. to Kenwood Ave.
13. Forest Ave. from Indiana Ave. to Massachusetts Ave.
14. Silver Dr. from Jackson St. to End of Cul-de-sac.
15. Emerald Dr. from Jackson St. to End of Cul-de-sac.
16. Ohio Ave. from Forest Ave. to Van Buren St.
17. Sapphire Dr. from Jackson St. to Van Buren St.
18. Oakhill Dr. from Kentucky Ave. to 6737 Oakhill Dr.

Additionally, the City of New Port Richey has employed the services of Florida Design Consultants (FDC) since 2010. Over the years, FDC has provided valuable consulting services for several key roadway improvement projects, to include the Plathe Road Resurfacing Project and the 2015 Main Street Streetscape Project. Throughout these years, FDC has supported the City in various aspects of planning, design, and execution of roadway enhancements, contributing significantly to the improvement of New Port Richey’s infrastructure.
