REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointment of Amanda Zborek to the Environmental Committee.
DISCUSSION:
On February 5, 2025, Amanda Zborek submitted her application seeking membership on the Environmental Committee. As Council may recall, Ms. Zborek is a graduate of our 2024 Spring Citizens Academy. If approved, Ms. Zborek's term will be for two years and will be up for renewal on March 18, 2027. Staff has verified that Ms. Zborek meets the requirements set forth in the ordinance to serve on this committee. With this appointment, that leaves one member and two alternate member positions open on the Committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointment of Amanda Zborek to the Environmental Committee as submitted and accept the attached updated membership roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
