REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to entertain a discussion relating to a proposed Noise Standards Ordinance for the City.
DISCUSSION:
The purpose for the discussion is for Council to further direct staff as to what course of action, if any, should be done to help alleviate resident complaints regarding noise levels from local businesses and special events held in Sims Park. Staff is prepared to answer any questions that Council may have regarding the proposed ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council proceed with the discussion related to the proposed Noise Standards Ordinance and direct staff as to which course of action to take.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
