RE:Mural Design 5644 Main St.

REQUEST:
Request consideration to complete storefront mural design at 5644 Main Street.          

DISCUSSION:

In 2005 Jennifer Pearl painted a 5'x16' storefront mural at 5644 Main St.  Ms. Pearl approached the building tenant to consider completing the mural scene to span the entire storefront. The non-mural portion was a canary yellow. The building owner has okayed the mural and feels it will be an improvement to the storefront.

 

The mural design has been submitted to the design committee of the Downtown Main Street for consideration. The committee voted in favor of the mural design.



RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the mural design.
