As members of the City Council may recall, the City is currently under contract with Bergeron Grubbs for Emergency Debris Removal and Disaster Recovery Services. The City secured those services by “piggybacking” an approved Pasco County contract and executing an amendment which allowed for two one year extensions to the original three year contract. This current Emergency Debris Removal and Disaster Recovery Services contract with the City expires August 2, 2016.
On September 8, 2015, the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners voted to approve the agreements for Disaster Recovery Services from Ceres Environmental Services and AshBritt Incorporated. The agreements were awarded subsequent to the two companies being chosen as the successful respondents to RFP-FA-15-081, Disaster Recovery and Debris Removal Services. County staff recommended to the Board of County Commissioners approval of the two agreements to create a redundancy in services during emergency management events. These same services are extended to the City with the same terms and conditions in accordance with the above referenced agreements.
