The Land Development Code (LDC) contains outdated references with respect to public notices for rezoning and special exception cases. Additionally, the Code requires that notices for City Council rezoning hearings include the Land Development Review Board (LDRB) recommendation. This often prohibits the ability to schedule the Council meeting immediately after the LDRB meeting.
This amendment will replace references to the former Planning and Zoning Commission with the LDRB and replace references to the Municipal Building with City Hall (and the correct address). It will also remove the LDRB recommendation in the notice to City Council.
