REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to review the Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Application from the African Literacy Foundation, INC. for the Caribbean Food and Music Fest to be held in Sims Park on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
DISCUSSION:
The Special Event Team reviewed and approved the Alcoholic Beverage Special Event and the Special Event Application for the Caribbean Food and Music Fest at their regular meeting on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. The event will be held in Sims Park on Saturday, August 27, 2016 with beer and wines sells from 12:00p.m. - 11:00p.m. Alcohol sells will be in Sims Park as identified on the map in the application packet.
RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation before City Council is to approve the Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Application from the African Literacy Foundation, INC for the Caribbean Food and Music Fest in Sims Park on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The estimated cost for City Services is $2684. to be paid by the applicant. | | | |
