REQUEST:
The request is for Council to rescind its appointment of Barbara Rattee as an alternate for the Cultural Affairs Committee.
DISCUSSION:
On August 16, 2016 Council approved the appointment of Barbara Rattee as an alternate for the City's Cultural Affairs Committee. Upon further review of her application, it has come to staff's attention that Ms. Rattee does not meet the requirements provided for in the City's Code of Ordinances to be able to serve as an alternate on the Committee. Staff has contacted Ms. Rattee and informed her that she is ineligible to serve on the Committee. Upon the removal of Ms. Rattee from the Committee's roster, both alternate positions are now vacant. The updated roster is attached to this agenda item for Council's review and approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that Council rescind its appointment of Barbara Rattee as an alternate on the City's Cultural Affairs Committee and accept the updated roster as submitted.
