REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to review and approve the 2016 Cotee River Bike Fest Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Application for October 7 - 9, 2016.
DISCUSSION:
The Special Event Team met and reviewed the 2016 Cotee River Bike Fest Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Application on September 6, 2016. The event was approved by SET to take place in Sims Park and in the downtown on October 7 - 9, 2016. Beer and wine will be sold on Friday, October 7th from 5:00p.m. - 11:00p.m., on Saturday, October 8th from 12:00p.m. - 11:00p.m. and on Sunday, October 9th from 1:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. The Special Event and the Alcoholic Beverage Event Applications are attached and include a map that identifies the event layout.
RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation before City Council is to approve the 2016 Cotee River Bike Fest Alcoholic Beverage Special Event to be held on October 7 - 9, 2016.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The estimated cost for City services and rentals total $16,980. The City will provide in-kind services in the amount of $7,500. The remaining $9,480. will be paid by the applicant. | | | |
