REQUEST:
I respectfully request Council to authorize renewal of an agreement between the City and Community Champions to provide services for registering vacant, abandoned and foreclosed properties pursuant to City Ordinance 2011-1942.
DISCUSSION:
On November 15, 2012, the City entered into an agreement with Community Champions to register vacant, abandoned and foreclosed properties. The agreement was renewed several times and has now expired.
City Code Enforcement staff regularly rely upon Community Champions' data base for timely determination of property owners' names and other contact information when dealing with code violations.
RECOMMENDATION:
I am requesting Council authorize renewal of an Agreement with Community Champions.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
This agreement results in no cost to the City. | | | |
