REQUEST:
I respectfully request Council authorization to accept a $20.00 donation from an anonymous citizen to benefit the police department.
DISCUSSION:
A male individual, who refused to identify himself and stated he wished to remain anonymous, presented a $20.00 bill to a staff member working the reception window at the police department. The individual said he wanted the donation to be used to benefit the K-9 Unit.
RECOMMENDATION:
I respectfully request Council approve acceptance of an anonymous $20.00 cash donation to benefit the police department K-9 Unit.
