REQUEST:
I respectfully request Council authorization to accept a $380 donation from The Karl Reef.
DISCUSSION:
On July 15, 2016, Joe Karl, the owner of The Karl Reef – 6307 Grand Boulevard, New Port Richey, Florida 34652, held a “Law Enforcement Appreciation Fundraiser” to benefit the New Port Richey Police Department. Mr. Karl delivered a check in the amount of $380 to the police department, which he said could be used in any way the department saw fit.
RECOMMENDATION:
I respectfully request Council approve acceptance of $380 donation from the Karl Reef to be applied to the department’s K-9 account.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
This is a positive impact of $380 to the police department budget. | | | |
