REQUEST:
Approval to reconstruct historic North Elevation balconies and Bank Street French Doors not to exceed $100,000
DISCUSSION:
Staff wishes to make historic improvements to the Hacienda Hotel. These restoration improvements are part of an iterative effort to shell-out the structure. The scope of work is as follows:
- Reconstruction of the Sims Park, North Elevation historic balconies.
- Fabrication and installation of the Bank Street French Doors to further improve the historic presentation of the original historic entryway.
- Fabrication and installation of the second story French Doors immediately over the Bank Street Entry.
The purpose of this restoration is to continue to dramatically improve the outside appearance of the Hacienda for public enjoyment.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the historic improvement to the Hacienda Hotel not to exceed $100,000
