REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to review and approve Resolution No. 2017-01 amending the Comprehensive Table of Fees for the Parks and Recreation Department.
DISCUSSION:
Fees for the Parks and Recreation Department were presented to City Council during their regular meeting on October 4, 2016. Council advised staff to review the fee recommendations for the Group and Family categories. The Group category was removed and the Family category was revised to identify a Household as recommended by the Sports Facility Advisory (SFA). The (SFA) recommended the rates for Daily and Monthly fees listed in Exhibit A. Althouogh the (SFA) did not identify Annual Memberships, staff recommends Annual Memberships for Youth, Seniors, Adults and Households as detailed in Exhibit A.
RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation before City Council is to approve Resolution No. 2017-01, amending the Comprehensive Table of Fees for the Recreation and Aquatic Center and the Park Shelters, as reflected in Exhibit A.
