REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to confirm the City's Library Advisory Board's recommendation of Joan Nelson Hook to the Pasco County Library Board.
DISCUSSION:
On October 25, 2016 the City's Library Advisory Board met for its regular monthly meeting. During the meeting, the Board members unanimously nominated Joan Nelson Hook to be its representative on the Pasco County Library Board. The Library Advisory Board has formerly requested that City Council confirm the recommendation of appointing Ms. Nelson Hook to the Pasco County Library Board. A letter on behalf of the Library Advisory Board requesting Ms. Nelson Hook's confirmation is attached to this agenda item for City Council's review and approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council confirm the nomination of Joan Nelson Hook to the Pasco County Library Board as requested by the City's Library Advisory Board.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
