REQUEST:
Staff requests that City Council consider the appointment of Elizabeth Giordano as first alternate on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
The City Manager has reviewed the application of Ms. Giordano to serve as first alternate on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. As required by City Code, this appointment must be approved by the City Council. Staff has verified that Ms. Giordano does meet the requirements outlined in the City's Code in order to serve on this Board. If approved by Council, the appointment will be for a three-year term and will expire on November 1, 2019.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends Council approve Ms. Giordano's appointment as first alternate on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and accept the attached updated Board roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
