REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the re-appointment of Dell deChant to the Environmental Committee.
DISCUSSION:
Mr. Dell deChant has been a valued member of the Environmental Committee for many years. Mr. deChant's current term expired as of January 8, 2017. Mr. deChant has submitted his application seeking re-appointment to the Environmental Committee for Council's consideration. If approved, Mr. deChant's term will be for two years and will be up for renewal on January 8, 2019. Staff has verified that Mr. deChant meets the requirements set forth in the City's Code to serve on this board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends City Council approve the re-appointment of Dell deChant to the Environmental Committee and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
