REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the re-appointment of Joan Nelson Hook and Dianne Ayers to the Library Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
Joan Nelson Hook and Dianne Ayers have been valued members of the City's Library Advisory Board for many years. Ms. Nelson Hook's current term is due to expire on June 3, 2017 and Ms. Ayers' term is due to expire on June 21, 2017. Ms. Nelson Hook and Ms. Ayers have both submitted their application seeking re-appointment. If approved, the terms will be for three years and will expire for Ms. Nelson Hook on June 3, 2020 and on June 21, 2020 for Ms. Ayers. Staff has determined that both candidates meet the requirements set for in the City's Code of Ordinances to serve on this Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends City Council approve the re-appointments of Joan Nelson Hook and Dianne Ayers to the Library Advisory Board and accept the attached updated membership roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
