The purpose of this work session is to gather input from residents, businesses and event organizers in relationship to events that are conducted in Sims Park and the downtown area and additionally to quantify the social, economic, environmental and financial costs of community events.  In that regard, some of the specific topics for discussion include impacts to residents, businesses and public facilities in respect to attendance, noise, traffic, parking, community enrichment and other quality of life consequences.
