RE:Interlocal Agreement with Pasco County Regarding the Administration of Hurricane Loss Mitigation Program Funds

REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve entering into an Interlocal Agreement with Pasco County for the administration of Hurricane Loss Mitigation Program funds.


DISCUSSION
:
On June 12, 2017 Pasco County notified staff that the Florida Division of Emergency Management had awarded $194,000.00 for county mitigation projects as part of their second funding cycle for the Hurricane Loss Mitigation Program. The County has prepared the attached Interlocal Agreement which outlines the implementation of the funds for 2017-2018. The Cities of Port Richey, Zephyrhills and Dade City are also parties to this Interlocal Agreement.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends that City Council approve entering into an Interlocal Agreement with Pasco County for the administration of Hurricane Loss Mitigation Program funds as submitted.

No funding is required for this item.
