On July 22, 2017, bids were solicited for the purchase and installation of wayfinding signage. Specifications were prepared by the KMA Group. Notice of Bid was published in the St. Petersburg Times.  The estimated cost of the project was $300,000.

On August 23, 2017, three bids were received, publicly opened and read. The results are shown on the attached tabulation sheet. 

Construction Management staff contacted the four companies that had attended the mandatory pre-submittal meeting to determine why they had not submitted bids.  Responses are provided in an attachment.  

Staff requests that all bids be rejected because all exceeded the estimated costs. The apparent low bidder did not submit the correct bid bond amount.  Staff will re-solicit bids.
