REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the re-appointments of David Schrader, Greg Giordano and Joy Phillips to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
David Schrader, Greg Giordano and Joy Phillips have been valued members of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for many years. Mrs. Phillips' current term expired on December 2, 2017 and Mr. Schrader and Mr. Giordano's terms are due to expire on December 20, 2017. All three have submitted their application seeking re-appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for Council's consideration. If approved, Mrs. Phillips' term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on December 5, 2020 and Mr. Schrader and Mr. Giordano's terms would be up for renewal on December 20, 2020. Staff has verified that all three applicants meet the requirements set forth in the City's Code to serve on this board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the re-appointments of David Schrader, Greg Giordano and Joy Phillips to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and accept the attached updated roster as submitted.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
