REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointments of Megan Gillespie, Lisa Marie Dolcy and Ruth Ann Jackson to the Cultural Affairs Committee.
DISCUSSION:
Megan Gillespie, Lisa Marie Dolcy and Ruth Ann Jackson submitted applications for membership positions on the Cultural Affairs Committee. There are currently two member and two alternate member positions open. The members of the Cultural Affairs Committee reviewed the applications submitted and voted Megan Gillespie and Lisa Marie Dolcy as members and Ruth Ann Jackson as first alternate. If approved, each candidate's term would be for two years and would be up for renewal on March 6, 2020. With these appointments, only one vacant second alternate position remains open on this Committee.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointment of Megan Gillespie and Lisa Marie Dolcy as members and Ruth Ann Jackson as first alternate to the Cultural Affairs Committee and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
