REQUEST:
Staff requests that City Council approve an amended request to purchase three mobile radios that was previously submitted on November 7, 2017.
DISCUSSION:
On November 7, 2017, City Council approved the purchase of three Harris DM-M78B Mobile Radios at a cost of $8,150.37. Since that time, it has been brought to my attention that I inadvertently listed Communications International as the Harris Network Service Provider for the radios when I should have listed Williams Communications, Inc.
Finance has requested that this agenda item be resubmitted for formal approval with the correct provider so that the invoice for the radios may be paid.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the amended request to purchase three mobile radios that was previously submitted on November 7, 2017.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
Equitable Sharing funds in the amount of $8,150.37 will be used for this purchase; therefore, there will not be a direct fiscal impact to the Department budget. | | | |
