REQUEST:
The request is to consider approving a salary adjustment for the City Manager in accordance with the terms of the employment agreement
DISCUSSION:
As you already know, the terms of my employment agreement specifies an eligibility for an increase in compensation as a result of a performance evaluation upon each yearly anniversary date. In that regard a performance evaluation was administered at your meeting on March 20, 2018. Therefore, please consider whether a salary adjustment is appropriate and if so make a recommendation as to the amount.
RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation is for the City Council to consider a salary adjustment for the City Manager which if approved would be effective June 2, 2018.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
If a salary adjustment is approved by the City Council there is funding available to cover this expenditure in the General Fund Contingency Account.
