REQUEST:
I respectfully request Council approval to purchase two Tasers from Axon Enterprises, Inc., at total cost of $2,990.00.
DISCUSSION:
Two Tasers are no longer functional and this request is to replace them. The Tasers with accessories and four-year warranties will be purchased from Axon Enterprises, Inc. -- 17800 N. 85th Street, Scottsdale, Arizona 85255. Axon Enterprises is a sole source distributor for these products.
RECOMMENDATION:
I respectfully request Council authorization to purchase two tasers and accessories from Axon Enterprises, Inc., at a total cost of $2,990.00.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The purchase will be made using Unclaimed Evidence monies; therefore, there will be no direct fiscal impact to the Department's FY 2017/2018 budget. | | | |
