REQUEST:
I respectfully request Council approval to purchase two portable police radios with batteries and accessories from Communications International at a total cost of $3,732.86.
DISCUSSION:
The requested police radios are intended to be used as spares in the event we have units that are damaged or fail.
The radios and accessories will be purchased from Communications International -- 4450 US Highway 1, Vero Beach, Florida 32967.
Communications International is the certified Harris Network Service Provider for our area and the sole authorized service provider for our account.
RECOMMENDATION:
I respectfully request Council approval for the Department to purchase two XG-25P Harris police radios and accessories from Communications International at a total cost of $3,732.86.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
This purchase will be made using Unclaimed Evidence monies; therefore, there will be no direct affect to the Department's 2017/2018 budget. | | | |
