REQUEST:
The request of staff for the City Council is to review and to consider for approval the attached proposal for the replacement of our current storage array in the amount not to exceed $38,634.75
DISCUSSION:
The current storage enclosure was purchased in 2010 and has reached its end of life. After reviewing several different solutions the Datrium storage solution meets the City’s budget requirements and offers additional enhancements to the current platform. The new storage array offers increased speed and an additional 10 Terabytes of storage to our current solution. This project was approved in the 2017 / 18 budget and pricing was provided off Florida WSCA Contract (AR233 4322000-WSCA-14-ACS)
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the proposal is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds for this project are allocated and identified as in the City’s current Capital Improvement Program in the amount of $ 40,000.00. [001-02-12-024-512-0000-0000-46413] The proposed total project cost is $38,634.75
