REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to review the Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Application for the 2018 Cotee River Bike Fest to be held in Sims Park and downtown New Port Richey from October 12 - 14, 2018.
DISCUSSION:
The City Special Event Team met to review the 2018 Cotee River Bike Fest on September 4, 2018. The event will take place in Sims Park and in the downtown as indicated on the map in the attached alcoholic beverage special event application. Farrell Cares, Inc. is requesting to sell beer and wine in Sims Park as follows: Friday, October 12th from 5:00p.m. - 11:00p.m., Saturday, October 13th from 12:00p.m. - 11:00p.m. and on Sunday, October 14th from 1:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.
RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation before City Council is to approve the 2018 Cotee River Bike Fest Alcoholic Beverage Special Event to be held in Sims Park and in the downtown from October 12 - 14, 2018.
