REQUEST:
I respectfully request Council authorize the purchase of two (2) 2019 Ford Police Package Explorer Interceptor SUVs at $27,708.00 each and one (1) 2019 Ford Fusion Sedan for $16,978.00, which is a total cost of $72,394.00.
DISCUSSION:
In the 2018-2019 F/Y Budget, Council allocated funds to purchase the above listed vehicles. The price for these vehicles was obtained through state contract price listings and quote comparisons. Ford of Port Richey – 10715 U.S. 19, Port Richey, Florida 34668, which is a state contract dealer, provided the state contract prices for these vehicles.
RECOMMENDATION:
I recommend authorizing the purchase of two (2) 2019 Ford Police Package Explorer Interceptor SUVs and one (1) 2019 Ford Fusion from Port Richey Ford at a total cost of $72,394.00.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
These vehicles will be purchased using Penny for Pasco dollars; therefore, there will not be a direct fiscal impact to the police department budget. | | | |
