REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointment of Helen "Jayne" Brewin as first alternate to the Library Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
On December 10, 2018, Helen "Jayne" Brewin submitted her application for membership on the Library Advisory Board. Staff has verified that Ms. Brewin meets the requirements set forth in the City's Code to serve on this Board. If approved, Ms. Brewin's term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on February 19, 2019. With the appointment of Ms. Brewin, that leaves one alternate member position open for this Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends City Council approve the appointment of Helen "Jayne" Brewin as first alternate to the Library Advisory Board and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
