REQUEST:
The request before City Council is to review the Alcoholic Beverage Special Event Application for the Cotee River Bike Fest to be held in Sims Park and downtown New Port Richey from October 11, 12 and 13, 2019.
DISCUSSION:
The Special Event Team met to review the 2019 Cotee River Bike Fest on February 26, 2019. The event will take place in Sims Park and in the downtown as indicated in the attached packet. The (3) beer and wine sale locations in Sims Park are noted on the event map. Farrell Cares, Inc. is requesting to sell beer and wine in Sims Park as follows: Friday, October 11th from 5:00p.m. - 11:00p.m., Saturday, October 12th from 12:00p.m. - 11:00p.m. and Sunday, October 13th from 1:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.
RECOMMENDATION:
The recommendation before City Council is to approve the 2019 Cotee River Bike Fest Alcoholic Beverage Special Event to be held in Sims Park and in downtown from October 11 - 13, 2019.
