REQUEST:
The request of staff for the City Council to review and consider for approval is Task Order No. 19 from McKim & Creed Engineering Consultants, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $192,700 for engineering services for the 2019 Orangewood Lakes Pump Station and Force Main Project.
DISCUSSION:
The project scope of the planned work is the disconnection of the existing force main services the Orange Lakes Service utility area and the reconnection of the existing force main to the newly installed duplex sewer lift station. In addition, 7,600’ of six inch force main will be constructed. The proposed six inch force main will tie into the new duplex sewer lift station located on Sunrunner Drive and run east to Osteen Road. It will then turn north and head to Massachusetts Avenue where it will turn west and tie into the City’s existing system 12” force main located at Magnolia Valley Drive.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of Task Order No. 19 is recommended.

Funding is identified as Water and Sewer Utility Construction Funds Account No. 405535-46391-0953. | | | |
