REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointments of Carolyn Marlowe, John Kane and April Novenson to the Historic Preservation Board.
DISCUSSION:
On April 23, 2019, City Council approved the re-activation of the Historic Preservation Board. At that time six members were appointed leaving three open member positions and two alternate member positions. Since that time, staff has received applications from Carolyn Marlowe, John Kane and April Novenson to fill the remaining vacant member positions. If approved, their terms would be for two years and be up for renewal on May 21, 2021. Staff has verified that all the applicants meet the requirements set forth in the ordinance to serve on this board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointments of Carolyn Marlowe, John Kane and April Novenson to the Historic Preservation Board and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
