REQUEST:
The request of staff for City Council is to review and to consider approval and award of the lowest bid submitted by Design Landscaping Management, Inc. in the amount not to exceed of $36,050 for the annual mowing and landscape maintenance of City Hall and Sims Park.
DISCUSSION:
As Council is aware, the City utilizes private contractors for the mowing and landscape maintenance of City Hall green areas and Sims Park located in the Downtown area.
As Council may recall, Design Landscaping Management (DLM), is a local firm that currently performs these services for the City under the current ITB contract agreement. During this time DLM has been dependable, professional, and detailed in performing the services mentioned.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of the bid and award is recommended.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this annual contract is identified in the Grounds Maintenance Division's Operational budget line item 001110-43433 Contractual Services-Lawn Maintenance. | | | |
