REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to adopt Resolution No. 2019-10 declaring a Human Rights Policy for the City of New Port Richey.
DISCUSSION:
At their regular meeting on June 18, 2019, City Council held a discussion on a proposed anti-discrimination ordinance. After the discussion ended, it was the consensus of Council to move forward with a resolution rather than an ordinance. The proposed resolution has been drafted by our City Attorney and is attached for Council's review and adoption.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council adopt Resolution No. 2019-10 declaring a Human Rights Policy for the City of New Port Richey as submitted.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
