REQUEST:
Staff requests that the City Council review and approve the amended Comprehensive Fee Schedule for FY2019-2020.

DISCUSSION:

As part of an annual review, City Staff reviewed the existing schedule of fees and are proposing the following changes for FY2019-2020:

Library Services - elimination of charges for the purchase of an additional replacement card, in-house repairs to materials, laptop use, and barcode replacement; reduce the cost of color computer/copier prints; and adding a deposit fee for Special Collections

Recreation & Aquatics - increase Summer Day Camp fees

Development Services & Building Permits and Other Permit Fees - full review of fees

Fire - increase charge for False Fire Alarms after 6 responses within a 6 month period

These changes have been highlighted in Blue in the attached schedule of fees.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2019-12, which approves the Consolidated Fee Schedule for FY2020.

BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The amounts approved will be utilized throughout the upcoming fiscal year.
