RE:	Consideration of Amendments to the FY19 Adopted Budget

REQUEST:

The City Council is asked to review and approve the following amendments to the FY Adopted Budget, which would allow for the following:

Increase transfer from Water & Sewer Fund to General Fund to cover capital purchases in Public Works Divisions within the General Fund the portion of annual maintenance of the legacy software system that related to functions of Water & Sewer
Increase transfer from Capital Improvement Fund to General Fund to cover the increased costs of capital purchases funded by Penny for Pasco funds

DISCUSSION:
The City's Purchasing Policy states that any capital purchase or improvement that is not part of the original budget must go before the City Council for approval.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that City Council approve the attached amendments to the FY Adopted Budget.

BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
The adjustments for capital purchases results in an increase of $261,588 to the overall budget for the General Fund.
