REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointment of Jennifer Sorenson as first alternate member for the Library Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
On December 2, 2019, Jennifer Sorenson submitted an application seeking membership on the Library Advisory Board. If approved, Ms. Sorenson's term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on January 21, 2023. Staff has verified that Ms. Sorenson meets the requirements set forth in the City's Code to serve on this board. With Ms. Sorenson's appointment, that leaves one alternate member position open on the Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointment of Jennifer Sorenson as first alternate member for the Library Advisory Board and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
