REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve the appointment of Ronald Becker as first alternate member for the Library Advisory Board.
DISCUSSION:
On January 23, 2020, Ronald Becker submitted an application seeking membership on the Library Advisory Board. If approved, Mr. Becker's term will be for three years and will be up for renewal on June 16, 2023. Staff has verified that Mr. Becker meets the requirements set forth in the City's Code to serve on this board. With Mr. Becker's appointment, that leaves one alternate member position open on the Board.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve the appointment of Ronald Becker as first alternate member for the Library Advisory Board and accept the attached updated roster.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
