REQUEST:
The request is for City Council to approve Resolution No. 2020-10 expressing Council's support for the fundraising of the museum project.
DISCUSSION:
As you will recall, Mr. Charles Zidar from the Museum of Anthropology, Paleontology and Science made a presentation to City Council at your work session on March 3, 2020 regarding establishing a museum within the city limits. At the close of the work session, it was the consensus of Council to direct staff to prepare a resolution in support of fundraising for the museum project. The draft resolution is attached for City Council's review and approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that City Council approve Resolution No. 2020-10 expressing its support for the fundraising of the museum project as submitted.
BUDGET/FISCAL IMPACT:
No funding is required for this item at this time. | | | |
