REQUEST: The request is for the City Council to appoint six (6) members to the Florida Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Citizen's Advisory Task Force (CATF).
DISCUSSION: On January 15th, 2019, the City Council created the CDBG CATF and appointed six members. The CATF serves as an oversight committee for the City's CDBG Program. The CATF must be composed of City residents and a majority of the members must be under 80% of the median income for the Tampa Bay area. In addition, no member may be an elected official and no more than one member may be a City employee. The proposed CATF membership includes four (4) income restricted members and one City employee.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Development Department recommends the following six (6) persons be appointed to the CATF:
